Arch Inn - Hualien City

The room was ridiculously cramped-I could barely open my suitcase! Plus, the bed felt like sleeping on a rock. And to top it off, a rooster decided that 5:30 AM was the perfect wake-up call. So frustrating!

I recently stayed for three nights while exploring the area, and I found the location to be perfect—just a short walk from the train and bus stations. The cozy queen bed room had everything I needed, including a mini kitchenette, though I didn't use it. I appreciated the complimentary green and red tea, as well as the clean environment upon my arrival. The dining area on the first level offered a lovely spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

There was also an elevator available, which made it easy to carry my luggage.

We recently stayed at a hotel in a great location with a very comfortable private room for four people. The room had a cute design and included everything we needed, including individual beds packed with all the tools. The hotel was clean and well furnished, and the staff were hospitable and even moved their bikes so we could park our car. We also appreciated the nearby laundry facilities and the recommended cheap car rental shop. we had a great stay and would recommend this place.

Mind-blowing staff with exceptional use of Google Translate, quick check-in. Cozy seating area in reception, shared kitchen with all necessary equipment. Surprisingly free snacks and drinks. Lovely quiet outdoor seating area with creative homelike touches. Spotlessly clean and well-equipped room. The best backpacker hostel!

I had the pleasure of staying at a lovely guesthouse where I got to meet a pet dog, enjoy free WiFi, and receive assistance with my tours. The property even had safety measures with a fire extinguisher!

Oh, how I loved stumbling upon a guesthouse with no negatives. It's just saddening that everything was perfect and there was nothing to complain about.

the hostel was basic but clean and comfortable, and the staff, particularly Chris, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The hostel's complimentary snacks, well-behaved dogs, and convenient location near the train station also added to the positive experience.
